Electric vehicles are now part of AAG’s Auto Sale & Lease catalogue — sourced through the same 70/30 outright purchase or lease-to-own structure as any other vehicle, with our normal VIN inspection available before you commit.

The Vehicle Inspection Report (§7.4) covers battery health and electrical systems alongside the standard mechanical checks.

The 70/30 payment structure
Applies to new and used vehicles alike — a simple two-tranche structure with a clear hold window.
First tranche (70%)
Paid via wire transfer, cheque, or online payment gateway. Secures the vehicle and confirms the order.
Hold period
Local: 30 days from deposit confirmation. Overseas: 10 days from confirmed port arrival.
Second tranche (30%)
Covers all port charges, delivery and logistics. No additional fees on top.
Release
Balance clears, vehicle released. One-time 7-day extension available at admin discretion.
If the balance isn’t paid within the hold period: the deposit is forfeited and the vehicle is relisted. You’ll be notified via WhatsApp, SMS and email before any action is taken.

Vehicle Inspection Report
Fixed price, no VAT surcharge. Applies to all new and used vehicles, local and overseas.

For overseas vehicles, the physical inspection can’t happen before deposit — you pay the 70% deposit against sourcing documentation, with the inspection running on port arrival inside the 10-day hold window. If Red-rated, the 70% deposit is refunded in full since the purchase doesn’t proceed — but the GHS 1,000 inspection fee is not refunded.
